Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show how the study of the spoken language can be realized from a diachronic perspective, taken into account the importance of historic documents, owing to the fact that the enormous diversity of these ones allows us to illustrate many different comunicative situations. The orality is not opposed to the writing, but they both are closely related in certain moments. For that reason it is possible to study those conventions that reflect in the writing what does not need to be signales in the spoken language. The not literary writen texts allows it. In this case we have used a document from the XVIth century: La averiguación de Loja (1509).
