APLICACIÓN CLÍNICA DE LA LINGÜÍSTICA: UN EJEMPLO DE EVALUACIÓN DE LA PRODUCCIÓN VERBAL ESPONTÁNEA EN EDAD INFANTIL
Abstract
Significance of Linguistics in the general field of Speech and Language Therapy stems from the opportunity it gives to us to identify, describe and interpret the child's disordered linguistic ability (either expressive or comprehensive) from parameters such as systematicity, precison and also from a coherent and contrasted theoretical basis. More than considering linguistic contributions in a narrow sense, we are referring to a particular philosophy concerning the material facts we have to deal with (linguistic disabilities in infancy), thought as dynamic, complex and social relaties that require not only a communicative functional approach, but also an integrative perspective for their study. Form this proposal, we will expose the advantages of the linguistic profiles (non-standarised descriptive strategies of linguistic assessment) when approaching the analysis of those problems on the basis of a flexible, comprehensive and creative way.Downloads
