All articles must be original and unpublished and may not be undergoing any other evaluation process with any other journal or publisher. Submissions for articles are accepted in Spanish and English.
To facilitate the process of submitting articles in accordance with the criteria laid down by the journal, as well as offering detailed information and examples for authors in the corresponding section, the following Word template is provided: Template for authors (Plantilla para autores/as).
The journal uses the latest version of the presentation, citation and referencing system of the American Psychological Association (APA): The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. The journal provides guidelines for authors: APA Guidelines (7th edition) ( Normativa APA (7.ª ed.)).
Each author must send an original and unpublished article that is not involved in any evaluation process. The text must be between 5000 and 7000 words long. The conventional structure of the article will be: title without contractions or abbreviations (in Spanish and English); full names of authors (without abbreviations); institution (without abbreviations); email; abstract in IMRYD format (maximum 250 words; in Spanish, English and French); keywords (maximum 8); statement of the problem or topic being studied; background and theoretical basis; design and methodology; results; discussion of results; conclusions; limitations of the study (and, where applicable, scope for future research); references (APA guidelines).
The submission must also include an Originality and copyright declaration signed by the author or authors (Declaración de originalidad y de derechos de autor), stating that the work is original and unpublished and has not been published in any other format and is not in the process of being published in any other journal.
To make the submission, the author(s) must register (through an ORCID account or manually), upload the file and complete the metadata (title of the work, abstract, authorship, etc.).
The average timescale for notifying authors of the outcome of the first review of their work is 3 months from the date of receipt of the submission.
