Abstract

The objective of this study is to present and
reflect on those aspects to be taken into
account in the implementation and development
of tutoring in secondary education.
The areas covered by this study are:
knowledge of the context of secondary
education, characteristics of the students,
importance of tutoring, common problems
inherent in tutoring, main areas of
intervention regarding students and family,
common suitable organizational models,
skills and competencies of the tutor, and
practical resources and materials for action.
