Abstract

Expressive movement and dance are some interpretative dimensions of music which have a high educational value. Between expressive movement and dance there are some areas related to traditional music which are highly relevant for musical education in general. In addition, and besides the educational and affective values it involves, traditional music is an interesting way of getting children familiar with other cultures through their songs, music and dance.
