Abstract

The expressive dimension of movement in educational settings can elicit complex emotional experiences, such as shame, which may lead to inhibition, isolation, or expressive blockages, thereby limiting artistic development. To reduce its impact, it is necessary to identify effective intervention guidelines. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to establish directives to foster disinhibition and support the management of shame. A Delphi methodology was employed, consisting of two successive rounds of questioning. An expert panel of 30 participants took part in the first round and 28 in the second. The analysis combined qualitative and quantitative data in the first round and relied exclusively on quantitative data in the second. The results revealed a high level of agreement across numerous guidelines (n = 50). These findings provide practical orientations to be considered at the outset of Body Expression proposals and highlight the need to create a safe expressive classroom climate.
