TRAINING PROGRAMME ON IMAGERY AS A COGNOSCITIVE AND MOTIVATING FUNTION TO IMPROVE SPORT PERFORMANCE ON YOUNG RACE SKATERS

Abstract

This investigation must like objective verify to begin with if the training in imaginery like motivacional and cognoscitiv function improves the effectiveness in the sport yield in 12 skaters with ages between 11 and 17 years, in the execution of the exit of the point. Pretest-postest with an experimental group and a placebo group worked with an cuasiexperimental design; the imagination ability was evaluated by means of the Questionnaire of Imaginery for Sport; and the sport yield by means of the time of route. The training was made in 9 sessions during 2 months. When processing the collected data were significant differences between the pretest and postest in the GE, establishing that the program of training in imaginery influenced the sport yield positively, improving the times to begin with.
