Perfeccionismo y actitudes hacía el dopaje en el deporte: una revisión sistemática

Resumen

Introducción: El desarrollo de actitudes favorables hacía el dopaje ha permitido establecer que existen factores personales y psicosociales que pueden llevar a un atleta a actuar de manera antideportiva. Objetivo: Analizar la evidencia existente sobre la relación entre el perfeccionismo en el deporte y las actitudes hacia el dopaje en atletas de diferentes niveles de competencia. Método: Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura teniendo como referencia las pautas metodológicas recomendadas en la declaración PRISMA. Las bases de datos revisadas fueron Scopus, SPORTDiscus y PubMed. Resultados: Un total de n = 8 artículos fueron incluidos para el análisis cualitativo. Una vez analizados,  n = 3 (37,5% de los estudios) identificaron que las Preocupaciones Perfeccionistas (PP) son la dimensión que mayor relación tiene con las actitudes hacía el dopaje. Conclusión: La revisión sistemática evidenció que el perfeccionismo, particularmente en su dimensión inadaptativa (las PP), se asocia de manera consistente con actitudes más favorables hacia el dopaje en contextos deportivos. En contraste, el perfeccionismo adaptativo mostró relaciones menos consistentes y, en algunos casos, un efecto protector frente a actitudes dopantes. Estos hallazgos, modulados por factores como la presión social y el tipo de disciplina deportiva, aportan información relevante para orientar estrategias preventivas y programas educativos destinados a reducir la predisposición al dopaje.
