Resumo

Os elementos de representação no nível do metamodelo são insumos que podem ser usados ​​de forma consistente na construção de Sistemas de Organização do Conhecimento (SOC) para domínios específicos, e sua adoção está ligada a perspectivas ontológicas e epistemológicas que nem sempre são explicitamente declaradas. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste artigo é definir, a partir de múltiplas perspectivas, os elementos básicos situados no nível do metamodelo e seus fundamentos teóricos. Metodologicamente, adota uma abordagem qualitativa para o problema, e seus objetivos são exploratórios. Quanto aos procedimentos técnicos, caracteriza-se como uma revisão de literatura. Como resultado, apresenta-se uma síntese dos elementos do nível do metamodelo discutidos sob diversas perspectivas. Conclui-se que a compreensão desses elementos, juntamente com as perspectivas ontológicas e epistemológicas que os fundamentam, é essencial para o desenvolvimento de sistemas de organização do conhecimento precisos e interoperáveis.
