Abstract

The experience of the archivists of the Autonomic Administration of the Canaries in the construction of a functional classification scheme for the entire archive records of the institution allows us to reflect on the operation of the concepts of "generic record serie" and "record subserie" defined from relatively flexible interpretation of the principle of provenance.
