Abstract

An analysis of the Spanish labour market, as far Archives, Library and Information Science are concerned, is carried out based on the job offer data compiled at the Library of the Faculty of Translations and Information Science of the University of Salamanca. Which data are published on an e-mail list called Info-DOC. The methodology used to compile the data is clearly explained and there is an assessment of several aspects such as the number of work placements according to the professional category, employers, the number of work placements according to the field, job stability, the qualifications needed and the geographical area. The analysis ends with a series of conclusions about the performance of employment in Spain
