Abstract
In this article we try to define the research in a broad sense and the concept of Research System, Development and Innovation (R+D+I), with the explanation of the main indicators, the classification systems, also the main characteristics, the production cycle, and the track to examine the scientific and technological documents, their main characteristics and the role that the information professional could develop in this process.Downloads
