Abstract

Scientific journals define the research front of any academic discipline. A characteristic interaction exists between the level of institutional development and social acceptance, and the number and diversity of journals. This is specially clear in the case of Spanish Psychology. This paper offers a study of the actual situation of the Psychology Spanish magazines, analysing some of its formal characteristics such as oldness and periodicy, localization and institution editing, data bases and accessibility to them, through the inclusion of the main bibliographical data bases, both national and international
