The publications of the Scientifc field: The Latin American academic journals

Abstract

The scientific journals traditionally constitute main mass media and conservation of the advances of science -considered in an ample sense: as much pure and natural sciences like social and the humanities- through the organization and publication of scientific articles that communicate the result of the investigations. In the present approach on the present situation of the Latin American academic journals, in the first place the narrow relation is approached that display scientific publications with the practices of the scientific field, being a constituent part of the same one. Soon the particular characteristics comment that acquire the Latin American academic journals in the present context of marginality of the regional scientific production.
