GASTRONOMY AND HOSPITALITY: KEYS TO TOURIST SATISFACTION IN RURAL AREAS
Abstract
Hospitality is one of the most significant attractions of a destination and one of the factors that most influences tourist satisfaction. The perception of hospitality depends on both the attitudes of residents and the cultural involvement of tourists. The results of the study confirmed that motivation related to gastronomy and the consumption of local products positively influences perceived hospitality. Additionally, perceived hospitality influences the destination image and is the most important factor in explaining visitor satisfaction.
