New approaches and new motivations in the election of destinations of cultural-urban homosexual tourism: the Festival Circuit of Barcelona

Abstract

One of the offers from the urban tourism happens for promoting his cultural tourism and of leisure. With the homosexual tourism appears a product mix of leisure, recreative and cultural to satisfy the demand of a group with a few particularities social, demographic and economics singular. Here is analyzed the Festival Circuit of Barcelona, from a survey to know the motives of his choice, concluding that this decision, in addition to the profile partner-demographic of the tourist, also obeys the interaction of several affective and pragmatic factors, the qualities, offer and image of the destination and the consumption of new experiences.
