Abstract

The article presents a tourist route in the North-Eastern Middle Atlas Mountains between Taza and Bouiblane. The objective of this route is to promote ecotourism activities as a promotion tool for the economic and territory development. A series of landmarks has been described, showing the rural and nature values. Finally, the weaknesses found are checked as well as the actions foreseen to promote ecological tourism. These actions will be used as a resource for the development caused by the low socio-economic indicators and by the fact of being a sending area of immigrants.
