Abstract

This paper describes the connections or existing relations between three aspects of great contemporaneity: the real estate - tourist development, the town and country planning and the political strategies. We study an emblematic case in the Canaries: the process of construction of the Cerca Vieja Resort in Fuencaliente in La Palma (Canary Islands).
