Abstract

The Castilian nobleman Pedro Tafur (1410-1487), eager to see the world and to have adventures, made a long journey between autumn 1436 and spring 1439. In this study, an episode that corresponds to the pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Egypt (May-October 1437), in which he visits places associated with the life of Jesus and other biblical stories, is analyzed.
