Abstract

The monastery of San Ginés de la Jara besides attracted parties that established the City of Cartagena, many private foundations, and to celebrate Mass in their church or in their demands for burial vaults, which were increased along the second half of the seventeenth century and throughout the eighteenth. Among the many founders were the inhabitants of Cartagena field, especially the provincial and parties closest to Mar Menor.
