Abstract

Study on the mythological character of King Midas in his relationship with mysteric cults and the use of the psychoactive potion ingested during the Mysteries of Eleusis, the kykeon, whose main ingredient, the hallucinogenic myshrroom ergot, is the real referent for Midas’ ears.
