Violencia de pareja y diversidad sexual: Factores asociados a las dinámicas de violencia en relaciones íntimas entre hombres gay o bisexuales
Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como principal objetivo identificar los factores asociados a la violencia en relaciones íntimas entre hombres gay o bisexuales mediante una Revisión Sistemática Exploratoria basada en el criterio SPIDER. Con dicha finalidad, se revisaron cuatro bases de datos, obteniéndose 176 artículos y seleccionándose finalmente 17; de los cuales la mayor parte correspondió a estudios de tipo transversal, realizados en Estados Unidos entre los años 2022 y 2023, cuyos participantes se identificaron mayoritariamente como hombres homosexuales. Como instrumento de empleado para medir las experiencias de violencia en relaciones de parejas entre hombres se empleó predominantemente la escala IPV-GBM. Respecto a los resultados, se señalan como principales factores comunes, tanto en víctimas como victimarios, la presencia de síntomas depresivos, abuso y/o consumo de drogas, experiencias previas de violencia de íntima de pareja y el estigma y rechazo social asociado a la homosexualidad; mientras que se incluye como factores asociados exclusivamente al rol de víctima, la homofobia internalizada y experiencias de abuso sexual infantil.
