Abstract

In the collection of Museo de Bellas Artes of Valencia an anonymous picture representing the Virgin of the Rosary is conserved. In the present study, we have been able to identify this picture as a work of Pedro Camacho Felizes de Alisén (Lorca, 1644-1716) like unquestionable author. Its identification not only increase the number of works of the artist, but it is specially interesting because it shows a clear influence of the models of Alonso Cano; fact that demonstrates that the trip of the artist to Granada in 1692, by apparently bureaucratic reasons, was not without any profit.
