Abstract

Based on an experience developed with visually impaired students in a Resource Room of the Public Education System in Curitiba, in the State of Paraná, Brazil, this study analyzes the point of view of these
students and their teachers, the didactic materials, the assessment activities, the teaching-learning process and the organization of contents that make it possible for students with visual deficiency to acqui-
re knowledge of the contents in disciplines of the areas of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
