Structural analysis of community life at school from the model of the European Foundation Quality Management (EFQM)
Abstract
Given the absence of studies that address the phenomenon of school conviviality structurally, this paper presents a complex analysis of the management of conviviality in secondary schools. For this purpose, and accepting the validity of other alternatives, the model of the European Foundation for Quality Management is taken as a framework. The sample consisted of a total of 46 schools in Andalusia that belong to the network “School: Space of Peace”. The analysis includes the use of structural equations that allow to observe the relationship of influence between factors. The results confirm the validity of the EFQM model for the analysis of school conviviality, though, it emphasizes the need to replicate the study and strengthen the theoretical validity of the model.
