Heritage, identity and education: a theoretical reflection from the history

Abstract

Identity is a concept that it is possible to relate with the heritage. It is the so-called “heritage identity”. The article analyzes and reflects, through several examples, about the educator capacity of the identitarian heritage and also of their perversion of their destructive potential.
