Abstract

Given the importance that oral communication represents for students in the undergraduate business management for their future job, it is highlighted the need to strengthen it in the class. Specifically, this paper aims to develop the advantages derived from using the video recording in the classroom, under favourable conditions in terms of number of students and teaching context. Among the advantages found, we observe that it serves to subtract the subjectivity of the evaluation of such skill and take advantage of the potential of self-evaluation and co-evaluation, and an improvement in the involvement and performance of the students. Positive results have been obtained after implementing this methodology in first courses of Business Administration and Management suggesting its usefulness for undergraduates.
