The Quality of Education: Controversies and Challenges for State Education
Abstract
This article analyses the educational quality from different perspectives and outlines its idelogical, social and historical construction. A summarized framework of some theories of social justice is proposed for describing and valuing the most recent spanish educational reforms, the LOGSE and LOCE. Particularly the current reform, LOCE, is criticized because its neoliberal and conservative orientaion.
