Abstract

The lack of competencies of the students in the resolution of the multiplicative problems depend on several factors, one of them is the phenomenon of the semantic discontinuity of the operations situations models on passing from natural to rational numbers.
In this article, is explained the paper of the models of situation and his effects in teaching, also the problem of the semantic discontinuity of the models and finally, various methods to solve this problem are offered.
