Abstract

Family is the first agency in receiving and educating children, carrying out a teaching with very important outcomes in the child’s life. In the west countries family has changed a lot in the last decades,  adopting new forms. This study pretends to expand the knowledge of this family evolution, analysing the census data. We will stress in particular the single-parent family, because of its great sustained growth in Spain.
