Co-Responsability among family Members as a factor of Conciliation
Abstract
Improvements in shared family responsibility take place as part of the process of social awareness that is aimed at promoting a balance between work and family life. In the family environment, the basis for the egalitarian principles are set, which in the future will be passed on to the social/ professional world and to the future family. Current research into the nature, determining factors and consequences of the collaboration of all the family’s members offers guidelines to follow, which are designed to promote a change in the family members’ patterns of distribution, contribution and agreement in the day-to-day family work. In this text, the main lines of research and the factors that will contribute to achieving
co-responsibility are reviewed. It also provides details about the determining factors which will help to achieve a stronger and better balance.
