Abstract

The main aim of this work is to confirm the increase of the cohesiveness and perceived efficacy through an intervention program based on cooperatives task. The sample is formed by 61 participants, divided into two groups, experimental (n=31) and control group (n=30), belonged to six affiliated basketball teams. We used several instruments to measure cohesion and percieved efficacy. The most important outcomes are the significant differences found in the experimental group through the intervention program in social cohesion and coaches’ perception of efficacy. Thus, we can hightligh that factors like task cohesion, self-efficacy and peer perceptions of efficacy showed important improvings, but they were not significants.
