A lot of methods have been used in sport psychology through the time to achieve performance in elite athletes. In the case of university athletes, things some times are different. México is already one of the countries around the world that have been working in that field looking for make not only the best athletes but also to construct and to fortify their plan of life. At this moment, ITESO, Jesuit’s University of Guadalajara; has a Sports Psychology Laboratory where the mental training plans of the athletes are focused on: goal setting, attention, competition plans and strategies of intervention in competition. This material offers a route over the four stages that have been developed to enhance the performance of the teams.
