Abstract

The aim of this study is to design and validate a questionnaire for sport coaches in order to know what perceptions, behaviors and attitudes their parents have, regarding the sport of their children, in the Municipal Sport Schools in Seville. The sample consisted of sport technicians from the Municipal Sport School of Seville, who belonged to different disciplines. The validation of the questionnaire was obtained by experts. To show its reliability and internal consistency, the Cronbach's alpha test was run. The results show that the questionnaire is valid and reliable to determine the perception and opinion that has the technical sports about the attitude of parents in the sport of children in these schools they run sports. This is observed in the three sub-scales derived from the questionnaire (competition, communication and environment) which are found with values above .630.
