Basic pillars of the psychological intervention made in professional soccer

Abstract

The primary target of this article is centered in discussing, from the work developed with soccer´s professional players, some basic questions about work of the sport psychologist. The rapidity with that the events in soccer professional happen, its social repercussion, the importance that grants to the obtained results and the same fact to that half of the team is not titular in each match, generates that every week the situation is modified. This fact causes that is essential to make an attempt to establish some basic coordinates that must fulfill the psychological intervention in soccer.
