Abstract

This study is about the effects that the carrying out of a Program on Physical Activity for the elderly (of 27-week duration) may have on organic and psychosocial health signs. Results obtained in psychosocial health signs are compared to results obtained by other subjects (N=9) who carried out other ocupational programs for the elderly with a similar duration, and also compared to a group of subjects (N=9) who carried out no programs at all. Comparition results suggest that the carrying out of physical activity programs by the elderly are more beneficial in the psychosocial health signs.
