Abstract

The ongoing work reveals the usefulness of the same one to promote group welfare and selfdetermined behaviours, as well as the improvement of the performance and of the perception of group and individual self-efficiency. The direction of the task is characterized by valuing the skill depending on the self, as well as for highlighting the effort and the execution over the results. Likewise, it establishes that depending on the motivational characteristics that the subject perceives in the people who make up his/her close environment, we can differentiate between a motivational climate which involves moving towards the ego or towards the task within that context (Ames, 1992). The sports commitment is understood as a psychological disposition which represents the desire and the decision to continue taking part in sport (Scanlan, Simons, Carpenter, Schmidt, and Keeler, 1993). The latter is determined by the degree of amusement that there obtains the sportsman/woman from participating in sports, personal investments, opportunities of implication and social constraints, apart from the influence of the alternatives of implication and social support (Scanlan, Russell, Beals, y Scanlan, 2003). It is proposed a work carried out along the current season in which, through the definition of the efficiency of certain goals and indicators of performance, the psychological work is oriented in favour of the psychological, social and sports valuation of the sportsman/woman and of the group, the planning of his/her training, the appearance and strengthening of leadership styles, the social integration of the sportsman/woman in the group, etc
