Abstract

This paper works with the different ways allowed to a coach (or a psychologist workning together with the coach) for to improve the motivation of his team and/or their players. The topic of this paper deals with issues and techniques such as the following: worknig with the defeat; concentration; coach' learning; competence and responsability; player's trust and needs; psychological needs for the top-level athletes; cohesion and cooperation; and others related to the sportive motivation.
