Abstract

An analysis with light microscopy of the cervical intumescence of the dog was carried out between the 20th day of embrionic development and the 2nd month of postnatal life, in order to determine the cyto-and morphogenetic changes, and to establish the most significative patterns of chronological development just from the origin and evolution of nervous strutures. The myelinic-somatic tecniques used for individuals with critical ages allow us to follow neuronal differenciation step by step, and th progress of myelinization, based on th transitory affinity of neuronal elements for luxol-fastblue (myelinic stain), which is related to the moments in which neurons are integrated into the dynamics of their correspondent nervous centers.
