HAEMATOLOGYC VARIATIONS RELATED TO GESTATION AND AGE OF THE AUTOCHTHONOUS BOVINE RACE BLANCA CACEREÑA
Abstract
Several haematological values (haematocrit, haemoglobin, erytrocyts, leucocytes, M.C.V. and blood picture), were studied in sixty four Blanca Cacereña cows, grouped in three groups according to age. All these parameters were determined every thirty days after parturition, in twelve of these animals. It was observed during gestation an increase in the number of erytrocytes, leucocytes an cell volume and with regard to age an increase in M.C.V. and a numerical decrease of erytrocytes and leucocytes.Downloads
