Abstract
This work studies the association between number of siblings and victimization at school. A cross-sectional study was carried out with 28 secondary schools in Murcia (Spain). Sample of 2552 children aged 11 to 18 completed an anonymous self-administered questionnaire, that included socio-demographic information, quality family relationships and school victimization. Victimization was measured by asking children to recall specific acts they had suffered during the previous week. Only children and those with 4 or more brothers or sisters referred the highest levels of school victimization. Our study suggests that the number of brothers and sisters are related to the level of victimization at school.Downloads
