A general analysis of the information centers from a systemic perspective.

Abstract

A documentary centres study considered as systems. From this view point is presented an inner and an external focus on this questions. From the external perspective are showed questions as the legal and political environment; the new needs of the society; the economical questions about public services; the problems on the unknown future; the knowledge and information society and, finally, the cooperation as an affair of growing importance. Between the changes from the inner focus are the new needs presented to the professionals; the new ways of management and the very important question of the influence on the new technologies. As consequence it can be signed the value of the systemic perspective as a very important tool for the work of the documentary centers, mainly in question as general and especial planning
