UNA METODOLOGÍA DE PLANIFICACIÓN TURÍSTICA Y RECREACIONAL PARA PARQUES URBANOS EN FRENTES DE AGUA

Abstract

     The objective this research specifically persues is to develop a methodologic model to formulate touristics enjoyment purposing in urban parks. The Paseo del Lago Park, 2nd stage, in Maracaibo, Zulia state, was used to unroll this descriptive, enviromental and field work. A structured questionnaire was applied to a sample of 392 people, from the ages of twelve to more than fifty years, all of them park’s customers. At the same way it was used some owns documents of existing purposes for the Paseo del Lago Park’s recreational and touristics exploitation, made by the private and public sector. Data’s explaining was made by means of the content analyzing technique over the existing documents. The technique of triagulation was applied. Conclusions show that the methodologic model to formulate the purpose contemplate the following aspects: park’s characteristics and its usage set of rules, existing purposes of recreational and touristic use made by the private and public sector, pleasures, preferences and expectancies of the park’s customer, and finally, touristic-recreationals programs and projects development for the park.
