Abstract

The hotel sector, one of the cornerstones of the tourism industry, uses in the course of its business a wide variety of resources. Given the current importance of social responsibility, both for business and for customers and pressure groups, the application of policies in this field is a key strategic element in business management. So much so that the responsible use of resources contributes to the development of competitive advantage for companies that implement them. Given these reasons, this work aims to understand the current state of research on the corporate social responsibility applied to the hospitality sector, encouraging further discussion about this issue.
