RETÓRICA, PRAGMÁTICA Y LINGÜÍSTICA DE LA COMUNICACIÓN
Abstract
In recent times, many disciplines have devoted their time and interest to get a better understanding of the mechanisms of human communication and only joint efforts would help us to get a better perception of the human being from the point of view of communication. It was probably Rethoric the first one to reflect on the different means that a speaker could use to persuade an audience and, in order to do so, it had to reflect on the person in the process of communicating. Obviously, part of these studies are found in modern sciences or, putting it the other way round, all these sciences incorporated a great deal from the rethoric studies, including, of course, Pragmatics. Our goal is to show the meeting points of both pragmatics and rethoric from the perspective of persuasion in particular and communication in general. These confluences are unavoidable because both derive from universal conceptions of communication, which are beginning to be studied within the so called linguistics of communication.Downloads
