Discourse Markers for Correction and Rectification in Written Texts
Abstract
Discursive correction and rectification procedures imply a return to a previous discourse to reformulate it in a different manner. The issues covered in this paper are: to establish if these operations are in fact a part of reformulation processes; to determine if the discourse relationships between the linked elements constitute a reinterpretation of the preceding segment; and finally, to analyze a set of discursive markers, that allow the implementation of these operations in written texts.Downloads
