Percepción sobre la originalidad de trabajos académicos con el uso de IA

Resumen
El uso de la Inteligencia artificial (IA) plantea interrogantes sobre la originalidad académica y la integridad ética en los procesos educativos. Este estudio analiza las percepciones de estudiantes y docentes sobre la IA en educación superior, haciendo hincapié en su impacto en la originalidad y sus implicaciones éticas. Para ello, se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo de carácter descriptivo. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 1.437 estudiantes y 405 profesores de cinco universidades españolas a quienes se aplicaron los cuestionarios CAPAI_A y CAPAI_P previamente validados (α > .80). Los datos se analizaron mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial, aplicando la prueba U de Mann-Whitney para comparar diferencias entre grupos. Los resultados indican que los estudiantes utilizan la IA con mayor frecuencia que el profesorado y valoran su utilidad como herramienta de aprendizaje, mientras que el profesorado muestra una mayor preocupación ética por su uso. Por su parte, ambos expresan dudas sobre la originalidad de los textos generados por IA y la falta de normativas claras. Los resultados obtenidos revelan que es necesario regular normativas sobre el uso de IA en educación superior, fortalecer la alfabetización digital y desarrollar herramientas para detectar el plagio asistido por IA.
