About the Journal

Focus and Scope
Revista de Estudios Globales. Análisis Histórico y Cambio Social (REG) is an international,
peer-reviewed, open-access e-journal. The Journal publishes research that addresses issues
relevant to the understanding and transformation pathways of contemporary political and social
challenges. Articles that are of interest not only to a specialized scientific field but to a wide
audience of readers will be considered, seeking to have an international focus both on the topics
of the articles published and on the authors who publish in our journal. Articles will be
evaluated according to the criteria of the reviewers, editors and for their contribution to
collective scientific knowledge. Published works should include a bibliographic review and a
solid knowledge of the theories.

The final publication decision will be made by the director of REG.

The works must be empirical investigations with theoretical and bibliographic support,
not limited to abstract discussions of theoretical problems. The papers must also adopt a
reasoned discernment of the academic conventions of the moment, proposing alternatives and
projects of social transformation.

This Journal aims to make known to a wide public the research carried out on the most diverse
topics within the field of the study of History and Social Sciences. Revista de Estudios Globales. Análisis Histórico y Cambio Social (REG) will publish articles in English or Spanish.
REG will publish scientific research that is considered of interest not only for a specific scientific field, but that can be
understood by a wide audience of readers, written according to an appropriate spelling and grammar. The journal will pursue an international focus in both published research and authors
submitting their research to our journal. The articles will be evaluated according to the editing
requirements, the criteria of reviewers and editors and for their relevance and contribution to the
collective scientific knowledge. Revista de Estudios Globales. Análisis Histórico y Cambio Social (REG) is not responsible for the opinions of the authors who publish in the Journal, and
its objective is to offer a platform with the greatest possible freedom to promote an open
