El declive de Podemos en España: Moderación, faccionalismo, oligarquización y contrapoder popular débil

Resumen
Podemos surgió a raíz de las masivas protestas contra la austeridad, prometiendo ofrecer una forma de partido novedosa que sacudiría la política española. Sin embargo, tras una rápida irrupción en la escena, Podemos se enfrenta hoy a una crisis existencial. Utilizando datos recopilados a través de entrevistas con figuras destacadas de Podemos, así como, con cadre y activistas de varios partidos y organizaciones de izquierda, este artículo arroja luz sobre por qué y cómo el proceso de construcción del partido Podemos llegó a un punto tan crítico en el que el partido ha sido deslegitimado y corre el riesgo de ser reemplazado por Sumar como punto de referencia en la izquierda del sistema de partidos. El artículo sostiene que la combinación de presiones de la oposición y el deseo de las figuras principales del partido por ganar la mayoría de votos lo más rápido posible fomentó una rápida moderación de la marca del partido. Además, el artículo sostiene que perseguir tal moderación de la marca implicó marginar a las voces radicales del partido mediante un faccionalismo degenerativo junto con la oligarquización. Esta moderación-faccionalismo-oligarquización se enfrentó a la débil resistencia de las organizaciones del sector popular, lo que contribuyó a contextualizar el proceso, y a la consiguiente pérdida de popularidad y legitimidad del partido. El resultado del proceso fue un Podemos sin una marca partidaria clara ni vínculos orgánicos con las organizaciones sociales, lo que puso en peligro su propia supervivencia.
