Abstract

The text proposes a reading of the broken realities of different women who went to the Women’s Delegation, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, to denounce situations of domestic violence. The goal of this article is to present the singularity that this initiative presupposes by the analysis of the graphic work of Beth Moysés (artist and performer), who after living with these women in the delegation, depicts them as bodies divided by the social uneasiness that silences them nowadays, despite the fact that mass media lets them talk about their lives.
